A Quick Look at the Go Responsive Portfolio Plugin for WordPress

Go – Responsive Portfolio for WP is a portfolio plugin for WordPress that was developed by GranthWeb. The same company developed the fantastic Go – Responsive Pricing & Compare Tables plugin that I reviewed a few months ago.

The plugin is quite unique as it allows you to customise the post type that is used for portfolios. You can name your gallery type and control whether the post type is included in archives or in search.

Custom Post Type

You can enable your portfolio for your posts and existing media attachments.

Post Types

The fonts that are used with your portfolio can be modified through the settings area. Portfolios are responsive so look great on tablets and mobiles too. You can modify the maximum width of your portfolio for mobile devices or disable responsiveness altogether.

Styling Your Portfolio

The final output looks fantastic. You can display portfolio items across ten columns if you wish.

Portfolios support a wide range of image, video and audio file formats. You can therefore use the plugin to share YouTube items, SoundCloud songs, JPEG’s, and more.

The plugin comes packaged with six templates and four different styles; all of which can be modified through a style editor.

I have beens swamped with work this week so have not been able spend a huge amount of time using the plugin. From what I have seen of it, it looks very capable.

It retails for $22 at CodeCanyon. I recommend checking it out if you are on the lookout for a good portfolio plugin.
