I’ve held a few contests before. The more money you put up for the contest the more people enter so you get a better range of logos. Thats why I love doing logo contests. Half the time I’m not 100% sure what the logo should look like so by holding a contest you get to see dozens of entries…all with different ideas and concepts.

There’s no minimum price but $100 usually gets you a great logo.

The BloggingTips design is pretty basic but it works. When the blog gets another redesign I’ll probably spice up the forum as well :)

It is very easy to navigate, easy to figure out how to do things (i.e. quote, edit, etc.) and just flows very well. As far as “looks” … this one has a good clean look … can’t ever go wrong with blue either … and it will blend well with whatever ads you add to it (sorry … I’m a chick LOL and we think about that). Can’t wait to see the header … contest? Sounds like a good idea … What does that usually cost you? Good luck with getting your site rolling … sounds like it’s your passion. *huGs* Suzanne
