DatingPro came up with the best price-value ratio. I realize it is not for everyone because my project is rather specific (specific niche), but they met my needs, and all in all I saved about $5K compared to the rest of the offers I received. Advice: always request an estimate first.

It’s good then that you’ve been able to understand that you’d be better off building your own dating site from scratch, so early on. It is true that out-of-the-box solutions are not a fit for every project. Sometimes it makes sense to program a solution to one’s specific needs, from square one. You will need a team of programmers and designers for that. In other cases though, going for a turnkey software solution will save you a lot of money on development costs. You can rebrand the ready site and do smaller adjustments to fit your niche idea, and spend the remaining money on advertising.

The company I work with recently purchased Dating Pro (I was on vacation) and by the time I came back we had spent an entire month trying to modify the dating pro website… and decided to make our own. That is effectively 3000 euros wasted! Support is bad, and to top it all the system is very very complicated to modify. I have just spent over an hour trying to figure out the structure of the website to extract their webcam capture and cropping stuff from it… They have built a very complex system that is not necessarily good – and we’ve gotten wiser and kissed goodbye to our HUGE investment and moved on to making our own stuff.

The issue here is not that the thing is slow, it is just massively complex and just looks like a bunch of stuff was just put together and sold for a very expensive price!

This product lacks a formal documentation. More than that the default website looks semi-pro…

Do no buy!

What a NIGHTMARE, SLOW SLOW SLOW * months to make modifications to the site, absolutely ridiculous. Support doesn’t respond for days or ever weeks.

The website still isn’t complete but they’ve been paid!
