In reply to Devan. They still don't tell you the rate of jobs. This means that the majority of applications turn out to be a complete waste of time as they pay buttons.

Ughh. Finally someone has pointed out exactly how I’ve been feeling. The quality lately is just awful. You cannot make a living off of these prices like you used to.

HI you are right quality is obviously declining. Its main reason is other high quality job boards where one can even advertise jobs for peanuts. Secondly now there is growing trends of writing review over the recruiters and visitors easily bookmark them to directly see vacancy position on their home page

In reply to Sonny OSteen. I definitely think there is a market for it. Launching that kind of thing can be difficult if you don't have a website to promote it. It could be done...though I'd probably prefer to focus my energy elsewhere at the moment.

Kevin, I would imagine that if you started a job board and advertised it to your email list – the advertisers and bloggers would flood in. I agree that ProBlogger is a great place to find blogging jobs but wouldn’t you agree that the market is ready for a “Premium” Job board?

I don’t think it’s necessarily an issue of trust. I trust ProBlogger. I have dealt with many people on the website and they are all great people. It is more to do with the lack of good blogging positions being advertised lately.

Hi, I totally agree with your point that ProBlogger is raking in the moolah with more ads per month and thus its good from the commercial point of view. However, it might just not work in the long run with the danger of plummeting trust factor involved.

I completely understand why everyone is turning towards guest blogging, but it sure is a shame that some people abuse it, so much that it has come to a point where most blogs are no longer accepting unsolicited guest posts.
