I haven’t actively used it for stills, but I have read many reviews of the camera and they state stills are fantastic. It is, first and foremost, marketed as a camera for photography. Video is a secondary feature but it is a feature it does very well.

I’ve got a DSLR but I’m tempted to trade it in for a smaller model for ease of use. I don’t really record much video.
