Blogging With John Chow

If you’ve ever searched for the term ‘Making Money Online’, you’ll know who John Chow is. John was one of the first people to make a personal blog profitable and within two years of launching it he was making $40,000 a month.

What a lot of people don’t realise is that John has had success with other websites. He’s also launched a range of different products and services.

John got in touch with me the other day to talk to me about his latest venture Blogging With John Chow. In the course walks you through how you can make money through the internet with blogging. The course includes 9 learning modules, a 30 day action plan. There’s also 6 modules on automation, a ‘Blogging Done For You’ section that offers dozens of turnkey solutions and a 50 minute video about how he went from 0 to $40,000 a month. A short report on ‘5 Essential Steps To Successful Blogging’ is also included.

The modules walk you through all aspects of blogging though there are some affiliate marketing related topics included too. The main 9 modules are:

  1. Blogging – It Builds Bank Accounts
  2. Launching Your Blog
  3. Brand-O-Nomics
  4. Content Is Duke, Prince, King
  5. List Building
  6. Monetizing 101
  7. Hunting Down Loyal Readers
  8. Optimizing For Google Rankings
  9. What’s Happening

The automation modules are short but well laid out. In them John explains how he streamlines his business through outsourcing.

Despite the course used John Chow’s personal brand name, the course was developed in conjunction with Malaysian affiliate marketer Peng Joon. Peng has made over one million dollars in affiliate sales through networks such as ClickBank. I didn’t know anything about Peng before learning about this course but after checking out his blog and Twitter, it’s clear he’s the real deal and it’s great that he’s involved with this product.

The course comes with direct email support through a ticket system though John has advised me he is going to set up a Facebook group so that members can network with each other too. The course will cost you a one off payment of $37, which I believe is a fair price as many blogging advice books cost around $15 and don’t come with support or access to videos. It also comes with a 60 day money back guarantee if you’re not happy with the course.

It would probably take you 3 or 4 days of non stop reading to go through all the content properly but the action plan and references can be reviewed later when needed. Unfortunately, the content cannot be downloaded on an eBook for viewing on your tablet or phone. You can’t copy and paste text either. This is something that all courses have to do due to piracy and unauthorised sharing though I think it’s a shame as it means you need to view all content on the website itself.

If you are new to blogging and are looking to learn from someone who has made a living through it, I recommend checking it out.

Thanks,
Kevin
